What is Marine Cargo Insurance?

It is the protection of goods from dangers and damages during transportation by sea, air, and land from one country to another.

การประกันภัยการขนส่งสินค้าทางทะเล คืออะไร?
คือ การให้ความคุ้มครองสินค้าจากภัยอันตราย และความเสียหาย ในระหว่างการขนส่งโดยทางเรือ ทางอากาศ ทางบก จากประเทศหนึ่งไปยังอีกประเทศหนึ่ง

There are 3 types of coverage conditions as follows:
1. Institute Cargo Clauses A
All Risk coverage is the most comprehensive coverage. The damage must not fall into any exceptions.
2. Institute Cargo Clauses B
Coverage caused by natural disasters such as earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, lightning, seawater splashing goods overboard, and damage from seawater.

3. Institute Cargo Clauses C
Coverage of damages from specified perils such as ships on fire, explosion, sinking, running aground, colliding with each other, general sacrifice, and throwing away at sea.

เงื่อนไขความคุ้มครอง มี 3 แบบ ดังนี้

1. Institute Cargo Clauses A

คุ้มครองแบบ All Risk เป็นความคุ้มครองที่ครอบคลุมที่สุด โดยความเสียหายนั้นจะต้องไม่ตกอยู่ในข้อยกเว้น

2. Institute Cargo Clauses B

คุ้มครองสาเหตุจากภัยธรรมชาติ เช่น แผ่นดินไหว ภูเขาไฟระเบิด ฟ้าผ่า น้ําทะเลซัดสินค้าตกเรือ ความเสียหายจากนํ้าทะเล

3. Institute Cargo Clauses C

คุ้มครองความเสียหายจากระบุภัย เช่น เรือเกิดเพลิงไหม้ ระเบิด จม เกยตื้น เรือชนกัน การเสียสละอันเป็นความเสียหายทั่วไป การโยนทิ้งทะเล
